Zheleznyi Volk – Russian for "Iron Wolf" -- is the name he was given by his enemies while in service to King Matthias of Hungary. In 1492 he "crossed over" through the mists and into Tir na n'Og, where he served various Factions as a Triad member and survived to become an Ironlord of the Black Faction. Mounted on the mighty Shannarra, this mystic-warrior can wield magic as well as weapons. He follows the Codes of Ohma, or his interpretation of them, and has often tried to goad Sir Charles into challenging him (though there could be only one result of such a rash action). But as an Ironlord, his motives are not always clear for he serves the land and its masters, the Fey. For good or ill, wherever Ironwolfe goes, blood is sure to flow!

Ironwolfe is played by Dameon Willich, creator and director of the Seattle Knights. Actor, combat choreographer, costumer, historian, and avid horseman, he has worked in several films, including The Postman , The Silent One and The Book of Zombie. He is a well-known fantasy artist/illustrator, whose work has embellished album covers, books, magazines, fantasy role-playing games, comics, and cards for Magic: The Gathering by Wizards of the Coast.
